A woman was fatally injured in a crash on Route 1 in Little Heaven, Delaware on Monday morning. Around 5:56 am, the fatal accident occurred when the car the 58-year-old woman from Houston, Delaware was driving hit the median, spun around, and entered the southbound lanes of Route 1. After she entered the lanes, a 36-year-old man from Dover, Delaware, who was driving an SUV, struck the woman’s car on the right front side. The woman was brought to the Bayhealth Kent General Hospital where she succumbed to her fatal injuries while the other victim received treatment at the hospital and was discharged.
